Stop Smoking
Smoking is an addiction as we all know, so the question should be what is an addiction and how to break the hold.
An addiction is a controlled or learned response from the brain to the requirement of a substance or action, after the brain starts to believe it needs the addiction it sets hold and becomes a habit as well as an addiction.
Smoking along with addictions is relatively simple in curing, you simply convince the brain that it does not need what it is addicted to, and teach the mind how to break the habit or replace in certain situations.
As with all our treatments the first course of action is to establish the reason for needing to smoke , we do this in the most appropriate way which may be a through questionnaire, hypnosis or simply a chat about possible reasons for not wanting to stop smoking, your therapist will talk you through these processes during your free consultation as to which will be affective for your personal circumstances as this varies from person to person.
When dealing with stopping smoking we use a combination of hypnosis, N.L.P and behavioural therapy, having a therapist that is qualified in these areas allows us to provide the most modern techniques so that positive changes can occur quickly and lastingly.
As with all our treatments you will be provided with appropriate materials for you to use in-between appointments free of charge to increase the speed and lasting effects of therapy.
Please contact us for more information or to arrange a free consultation with a therapist.
